SHOPPING

Will you help me figure out what products are best for my pets?

Every pet is different and special in their own way, and with our variety of products we will assist in picking out what’s right for you and your pet. 

We have no agenda, nor allegiance to any specific brand(s). What’s best for your pet(s) is what gives them healthy skin, coat, poops, breath, bright eyes, great energy, and what suits your budget and time commitment and personal ethics. Our conversation continues from there. 


Can I do curbside pickup?

Absolutely. Place an order within our online store or give us a call and pre-pay via Venmo or with a card over the phone and we will have your order ready for you at your desired pickup time!


Is my pet allowed in your store?

Leashed and generally happy pets are welcome in our store. Due to being a Fear-Free establishment, we do ask that if your pet is fearful of new places or people that you either leave them at home or you allow us to help you make their experience a less stressful experience with various methods of approach including food or safety barriers. This may include giving you instructions about how to interact with your own pet. 


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), e-payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Venmo.


What if you don’t carry the product I want?

Check with our store to see if it is an item we are able to order for you. Special orders will come directly to our store at no extra charge, often within a few days. Use our custom order form, call us at 215-248-9999, email us at orders@queeniespets.com or visit us in person to order. 


Do you sell live pets?

Queenie’s carries anything and everything you need for your pets; we are a retail and dog walking company, but do not sell live pets.


What brands do you carry at your stores?

We rotate our products on a regular basis, but we carry multiple different brands and products, including anything you may request.


Do I have to be home to receive my delivery?

We can deliver to your home even if you are out!


Do you take in strays or found animals?

We do not take in strays or found animals and we cannot hang posters for them. If you are a regular customer of ours, and have lost your pet, we will share a post on our social media that you have created if you have lost your pet, with your own contact information. We cannot be the point of contact for lost pets.



GIFTS

Do you make and ship gift baskets?

We do ship gift baskets! Shop our gift baskets page or make your own custom basket and we will get you a shipping estimate for anywhere in the world!


Can I buy gift cards?

Yes! You may purchase a gift card either in store or online in any increment!



RETURN POLICY

What is your return policy?

We will take returns for store credit for products that are unopened and undamaged. Some brands and product types are not returnable including all medical-related products, as well as any custom-ordered items and our Chilly Dog coats. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. 



HIRING

Do you take volunteers?

At this time, Queenie’s does not have a need for volunteers within our operational set-up. We recommend looking to our local shelters, rescues and wildlife rehabilitation groups for volunteer opportunities with animals.


Are you hiring?

You can check out our jobs page in order to apply for one of our positions of either a dogwalker, caregiver or a retail associate!


COMMUNITY

Do you accept donations?

We do not accept donations of anything used. Please call us before bringing in anything you wish to donate to discuss it with us first. We will refer you elsewhere if it is an item we cannot accept. And thank you, in advance, for your generosity!

Will QP donate to my cause?

Please note that all donations have been halted for 2023 while we undergo renovations and prepare to open our new Glenside locations.


Our focus for donations revolves around Mt.Airy, Chestnut Hill and Germantown-based organizations. We regret that we cannot support every request that we get. At this time, we do not donate to religious organizations nor any school that is outside of our service or delivery zones. 


Will you put up a flier/poster in your store?

To be fair to everyone, we have a no flier policy, no matter the event or cause.

Please see our resources list on our services website for a list of our preferred local veterinarians. Please note that this list is by no means exhaustive, we do not receive any compensation for any recommendations we make, nor are we directly affiliated with any vets on our list. 


What trainers do you recommend?

Please see our resources list on our services website for a list of our preferred local, Fear-Free trainers. Please note that we only recommend trainers who are committed to our shared core value that all pets be treated and trained in a manner that ensures all pets are only ever treated in ways that are force-free, fear-free, stress-free and pain-free. We do not use the word “dominance,” “Alpha,” “pack,” “whisperer,” and no one ever “needs to know who is in charge”. 

You feed your dog - hence your dog automatically knows you’re in charge-that’s it. 

With that in mind, Click here to meet the trainers we love, and with whom we work closely, because it truly takes a village to raise great, Fear-Free dogs AND cats (yep, they train cats, too…you don’t have to give you cats away when they start misbehaving!!).

Yes. Depending upon the brand, we will honor certain FB programs or are happy to speak with our distributors if we aren’t already in one! We love to keep our customers happy - and saving money!
